Orange Is the New Black ist eine amerikanische Webserie. Sie basiert auf der Autobiographie "Orange Is the New Black: My Year in a Women's Prison" von Piper Kerman. Handlungsträgerin ist die Managerin Piper Chapman. Ihr Leben ändert sich schlagartig als sie wegen Geldwäsche zu 15 Monaten Haft verurteilt wird. Dort muss sie sich erst einmal mit ihrem neuen Leben zurecht finden.
